Donate eye glasses to the ‘Lions
Recycle For Sight’ program. The eyeglasses are cleaned,
prescriptions are read and they are packed. Lions travel to Central America
and set up shop to examine and prescribe glasses for the disadvantaged in
various countries. Each year between 3,000-4,000 pairs of glasses are distributed
to restore good sight to many in need.
Glasses may be dropped off at many locations around Kent County, including
many optical centers. Check with your eye doctor to see if they host a collection
location.
