Habitat for Humanity's ReStore depends on the generosity of homeowners, contractors and corporations for donations of new or gently used appliances, furniture and building supplies. These products are sold to the public at discounted prices or used in the construction of Habitat homes. Donations can be dropped off during regular store hours and pick-up service is offered for large donations.

For generations Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids has been reusing community donations to put individuals with 'barriers to employment' to work. Beyond simply reusing community donations did you know that Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids is also an avid recycler of unsold donations? Every donation that comes through the door is either sold or recycled. The revenue from each donation goes towards training programs geared towards putting people back to work in our local economy.
