Recyclables
picked up from the curb or dropped off at the Kent County Recycling Centers
are brought to the Kent
County Materials Recovery Facility in downtown Grand
Rapids (unless your hauler does not participate in the Kent County program—check
with your hauler). Recyclables are sorted, baled and shipped to companies
that will re-utilize the materials in new products or processes.
